Delete your Ok Hisab account

This page is the account-deletion URL for the Ok Hisab Android app on Google Play (package in.okhisab.app, developer: Ok Hisab). The address to use in Play Console is https://www.okhisab.in/delete-account.

How to delete your account (in the app)

This is the fastest way. It permanently deletes your account from our servers.

• Open the Ok Hisab app on your phone.
• Go to Settings.
• Tap Delete account.
• Ask for the one-time code. It is sent by SMS to the mobile number registered on the account.
• Enter that code. If you set a 4-digit PIN, enter the PIN as well, then confirm.

How to request deletion by email

If you cannot open the app, email us at okhisab2026@gmail.com. Use the subject “Delete my Ok Hisab account” and include the 10-digit mobile number registered on the account. We aim to complete the request within 7 business days.

What is deleted

When deletion finishes, we remove from Ok Hisab servers:

• Your profile (name, phone number, profile photo, PIN hash).
• All customers, transactions, notes and bill/receipt photos.
• Reminders, encrypted backups and subscription status on the account.
• Referral code, referral wallet and any withdrawal requests tied to the account.

What may be kept

• Copies you already exported yourself (PDF or CSV) stay on your device or wherever you shared them. We cannot delete those.
• If a referral bank transfer was already paid, we may keep the minimum payment record required under Indian law. We do not keep your ledger for this.
• The SMS provider may hold a short-lived OTP delivery log. That is not your khata data.

Retention period

In-app deletion is immediate on our servers. Email requests are processed within 7 business days. We do not keep a deleted account “on hold” for 90 days.

Delete some data without closing the account

You can delete individual customers or transactions inside Ok Hisab. That removes those records and their photos, and you can keep using the same account.
